Sa Torre

Biniali borders the municipality of Santa Eugènia, an area steeped in the history of two country estates: Sonarossa and Sa Torre. Both carry in their stones the patina of antiquity, the weight of a chronology reaching back into the dawn of the medieval period. Around the first, a small settlement grew up, scattered and gentle, while beside the second, wall to wall, stretches the urban fabric of Ses Alqueries, one of the hamlets of Santa Eugènia. The route also follows historic ways that have shaped the course not only of the area but of the whole island. Two are worth naming: the Camí de Sonarrossa and the Camí de Consell.
